Einsatzwetter is a real-time decision-making aid to support street cleaning, winter road maintenance and green area maintenance. The app offers winter and summer maintenance managers a quick overview of the current and expected weather situation in their area of operation at any time.
On the start screen you can immediately see whether there are active smoothness warnings for your region in the coming hours and which special weather events (e.g. cold, smoothness, storms or thunderstorms) are expected. For the planning of operations and necessary occupational safety measures, Einsatzwetter offers information on cold and heat loads, UV-radiation and the soil condition of green areas.
Einsatzwetter includes special weather forecasts for the coming 24 hours up to 2 days. Detailed information on the condition and road surface temperature of roads, bridges, cycle paths and footpaths as well as the forecast rain and snow quantity are presented in diagrams in an easily understandable way.
You benefit from numerous features that are necessary for quick decision making on the go. Einsatzwetter includes webcam images and current measurement data from your road weather information stations (RWIS) and official weather stations. In addition, a 5-minute weather radar provides forecasts for the coming hours as well as information on the type and intensity of precipitation (e.g. rain, sleet, snow and freezing rain).
Einsatzwetter is exclusively available to customers of Wettermanufaktur. Registered customers via the web-based portal www.einsatzwetter.de receive an individual setup of the app especially for their area of operation and their customer order after activation by Wettermanufaktur.
